our facilitator staff

 

  • Tim Spradlin, SMSgt/1stSgt (Ret) USAF is director and an EAGALA Certified Equine Specialist with designation as a  Military Services provider. An Iraq combat veteran, he retired as a First Sergeant after 30 total years in the the military active and Reserve forces. Tim has also served over 43 years combined civilian career in fire rescue, EMS and law enforcement.  Tim has extensive experience working with veterans, first responders and the wounded warrior population. 


  • Anissa Kasarjian, MSW, LISW has worked as a Social Worker for ten years with main areas of concentration on child/adolescent and family therapies.  She is an EAGALA certified mental health provider with extensive experience working with the warrior population. Anissa also holds the EAGALA Military Services designation. 

 

  • Carol Bryant, Capt, USAF, is a lifelong equestrian currently serving on active duty. She is a PATH certified therapeutic riding instructor and Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning . Carol is also an EAGALA certified equine specialist with designation as a  Military Services provider and extensive experience working with the wounded warrior population.  


  • Susan Spradlin, RN is the manager for FHF. She has over 30 years medical nursing experience including fire department EMS paramedic, emergency room, trauma, surgery, obstetrics and drug / alcohol addiction care. 


  • Our facilitators also have extensive experience with the Save A Warrior program in Hillsboro, Ohio. (see link at top of page)   


  • Our horses are all qualified for this work just by being horses. They have no special training for equine therapies.
