- We often hear stereotypes about horses; they bite, kick, run away and will throw people off. They can do that, but it is rare. Facing fears, overcoming anxiety, doing something you've never done before, accomplishing a goal - these are the reasons we offer the equine experience. If we can overcome fear in our lives we can do so much more.

Mentally wounded warriors often feel defective, helpless and alone. They will isolate to avoid judgement. They may self medicate to numb their feelings with substances or unhealth
